Prompted by the \u201cExecutive Innovation Roundtable\u201d organized by the Executive Innovation Committee (EIC), the \u201cIM Lab\u201d\u2014which supports the creation of an innovation ecosystem through industry-academia collaboration\u2014has been launched. The Japan Innovation Network (JIN), a general incorporated association that serves as the secretariat for the Executive Innovation Committee (EIC), is responsible for its operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cIM Lab,\u201d a joint initiative of the Japan Innovation Network (JIN), a general incorporated association, and Tokyo University of Science that promotes the practical implementation of ecosystem strategies, held a public event titled \u201cIM Lab Open Day\u201d in Tokyo on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 (sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry). Approximately 120 participants from companies, universities, and government agencies attended the event. Under the theme \u201cPromoting Educational Programs Utilizing Innovation Management Systems (IMS) Based on the ISO 56000 Series,\u201d insights from both Japan and abroad were shared, and a panel discussion was held.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
